where I currently teach
every yoga asana (postural yoga) class I offer includes connection to the deeper layers of yogic experience. beyond the physical, postures, expect pranayam (breathwork), awareness & concentration practices, and philosophy.
yoga asana styles
YIN
inviting stillness and sensation, a yin practice includes fewer shapes held for a longer time, with extra space for concentration practices, meditation, and exploration of the subtle body
SLOW FLOW
a fluid hatha asana practice, slow flow invites mindful stretches and postures, with a focus on mobility and attending to the major muscle groups of the body
VINYASA
building fire with more active physical postures, vinyasa finds a faster rhythm and longer sequences, while keeping a focus on intentional movement synced with breath
group offerings
welcoming all parts of our lives and stories, these circle spaces & community events are intended to bring you deeper in relation with yourself and the collective.
GRIEF TENDING
holding our grief and love, together we build a space to share and witness the stories of who or what we are grieving. all griefs, including pet loss, life transitions, and collective grief, are welcomed and honored
SOUND BATH
sound baths are intended to create a container for deep restoration. expect some gentle movement to prepare, followed by a variety of soothing tones
PILINA CIRCLES
